Dear Self,
You are about half-way through the nanowrimo.org challenge and have been fairly good at keeping up with your goals despite the insanely busy schedule. You read somewhere that a newish author (who now has her novel made into a movie) spent 10 hours a day just to finish her work.
Self, that’s what it will take at the end of the day. Time. You are building your skills and working steadily toward completing your work, but to push your work into the “great” category (or at least great enough to publish your work, or at the very least great enough for another human being to take interest in, then you have to figure out ways to carve out more time.
Something to think about. Where can you steal the time in a day?
I’ll check back in for your answer.
Signed,
Your Observing Ego
